## Questions people ask

**Do I need to be able to code?**

No. We bring the engineering. You bring the clinical insight and the problem you want to solve.

**Will my idea be a medical device?**

It may be. Software intended for a medical purpose can be regulated as a medical device. We help you understand the question early and point you to the MHRA's guidance; the regulatory assessment is part of the work.

**Can you help me find funding?**

We can point you to programmes that support clinical innovators. We do not award funding ourselves.

**Is my idea kept confidential?**
